Christmas Soon...

Since Christmas is coming soon I think we should get in the mood 4 it :) For all you people out there that like FRED ( Not Ally ) go on YouTube.com and type in "Christmas Cash" It's funny and cute :D if you are really obsessed with him he has album of Christmas songs that from his web show. Happy Thanksgiving, everybody! Remember, be thankful for everything you have because there are people out there who are less fortunate than you. And you should remind the people you love that you're thankful for them too.

*Tomorrow I'll officially be off my Christmas boycott. If you see me, I'll probably have Christmas songs stuck in my head.

scary video

Today in health class I was forced to watch this apallingly scary video on pregnancy and childbirth. It was a cartoon. I know, it already sounds bad. You know what it was called? "Dr. D's Birds and Bees: Countdown to Baby" *shudder* First of all, the Doctor was literally the letter D. Second of all, there was these two kids in there that didn't really move, they just alternated between two facial expressions. Also, there were these weird cartoon, stick-figure-ish, green people portraying the mother and father. And they didn't have any clothes on. I can never look at a stick-figure the same way again. And we got to see the green stick-figure baby come out of the mother. That was gross. And to top it all off, there was a song. A rap song. Dr. D sang it. It was actually quite catchy, but I will forever have nightmares of letters singing about babies being born. This movie critic will have to give it two thumbs down, but I will also give it five stars as a horror movie. I was incredibly scared.

BOYCOTT

I am on a Christmas boycott. It's not that I'm against Christmas, but until Thanksgiving is all done with, I will not so even hum a Christmas song. It is not fair to Thanksgiving to start getting ready for Christmas the minute Halloween is over. I mean, they're just rushing everything. And the only reason Thanksgiving is not as celebrated as Christmas is because you don't give gifts on Thanksgiving. It's all superficial, because it's not like they're really excited about Christmas, or the whole world peace thing, or even the real reason Christmas is a holiday! And don't you feel bad for poor Thanksgiving? Cast into the shadows of Christmas all because there is no gift-giving on Thanksgiving. It's not really fair. So if you agree, please join my boycott of Christmas by commenting with your name, kind of like a petition. And by the way, I changed the settings so that even if you don't have an account, you can still comment, just as anonymous.

Swim

Well, I've been listening to this alternative rock band, Jack's Mannequin, for awhile now and I've just heard this song of their's, Swim. I love it because it really makes sense to someone like me, who's afraid of when I grow up because of everything that I'm going to have to deal with. And when all of that gets too tough for me, instead of turning to something bad, I can just think of this song, and 'swim' through it. I hope this helps for anyone who feels the same way.
